About ContactVault

What is ContactVault?

ContactVault is a specialized email provider for applicants. You choose the employer name and email address, write the message yourself, and decide when to send it. We provide the applicant-side sending address, anonymized reply mailbox, and technical guardrails that let you initiate first contact without exposing your personal inbox. The practical benefit is not privacy alone: it also reduces wasted time, lowers anxiety, and improves the chance of getting a clear response without giving up personal contact data at the start.

How it works (in brief)

  1. You enter the employer name and email address, compose the message, and add structured résumé highlights.
  2. You confirm the send from your own mailbox. Nothing is sent until you actively approve it.
  3. ContactVault sends the message from an applicant-side ContactVault address instead of your personal email address.
  4. The employer can reply normally by email or use one of four outcome buttons: Interested, Not moving forward, Please apply via our portal, or Role already filled.
  5. You receive the reply and any structured outcome in your ContactVault applicant inbox without giving up your real email address.
