What is ContactVault?

ContactVault is a privacy-first way to make first contact with potential employers. You send a short message and structured résumé data through our relay; the employer can rate your chances and optionally leave a note — without ever seeing your real email or identity until you decide to reveal it.

How it works (in brief)

1. You compose a short message and add résumé highlights (no file uploads yet).
2. We relay it to the employer from a ContactVault address.
3. The email includes four rating buttons: Very Unlikely, Unlikely, Likely, Very Likely.
4. When clicked, their rating (and optional message) is securely returned to you.

Roadmap

Here’s what to expect next. Timelines may shift as we prioritize reliability and security:

• Attachments: Upload PDF résumés / portfolios with the same privacy guarantees.
• Dashboard: Richer tracking (status, expirations, analytics) — expanding the current premium view.
• Magic-link login: Account-free authentication via email link; 1/day for regular, 10/day for premium.
• Employer directory: Opt-in job board view with privacy-preserving contact flow.
• Community ratings: Aggregate employer communication scores to guide job-seekers.
