Right of Withdrawal

This page explains your statutory right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU/EEA when purchasing paid services from ContactVault. If you use the service as a business, this right does not apply.
Cooling‑off period
- You have 14 days to withdraw from a paid service contract without giving any reason.
- The period starts on the day the contract is concluded.
- To meet the deadline, it is sufficient that you send your withdrawal notice before the period expires.
How to exercise your right
Send us a clear statement (e.g., email or letter) that you are withdrawing from the contract.

Effects of withdrawal
- We will refund all payments received from you for the withdrawn contract within 14 days of receiving your notice.
- Refunds are made using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise. You won’t be charged fees for the refund.
- Access to the relevant paid features will be ended when the withdrawal takes effect.
Services begun during the cooling‑off period
- If you asked us to start providing services during the 14‑day period, you will pay an appropriate amount for what was provided up to the time you told us you were withdrawing.
- If the service is fully performed within the 14‑day period after your express request, your right of withdrawal no longer applies once performance is complete.
- Some purely digital one‑off items may come with an explicit consent box where you acknowledge you lose your right of withdrawal when the download or access starts.
Who may use this right
- This right applies only to consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade, business, craft, or profession).
- Business users and organizations are not entitled to the statutory withdrawal right.
